The Farmhouse - The Gathering

Absolutely beautiful, didn't want to leave!! We stayed here with a group of friends (9) to celebrate our July birthdays. The Farmhouse is close enough to Fredricksburg that you can run into town for the day. Yet, far enough from town to feel a world away. The house is cozy with separate rooms and private baths. Then you step into the private outdoor space, a peaceful oasis of comfort, perfect for dining and fun with friends and family. We are looking forward to our next visit.

The Farmhouse was large and spacious for our Girls Weekend. We enjoyed grilling and the pool. We wished we had stayed in both nights. We were not ready for the weekend to be over.

My friends and I have stayed here two years in a row and absolutely love it! Its enough room for a group of 10, the backyard makes you not want to leave. Rental agency, owners, and cleaning crew were all super kind and very helpful! We will be back for sure!!

Rose, so glad you were able to enjoy the Farmhouse and make special memories. We do our best to provide special care to our guests as we are owners and intimately involved in our business. I hope you can come again soon.

What a fabulous house and property! We stayed as a group of couples for our friend's 40th birthday and filled the Farmhouse and a couple of the smaller houses on property. The house had everything you would ever want or need and was a highlight of the weekend away. Everything was new and updated, but stayed true to the farmhouse charm. We even stayed in to cook and eat dinner together both nights vs. going downtown - as the kitchen and eating space was large and sat all 12 of us! The outdoor area was just as phenomenal - from the pool, to hot tub, to outdoor fireplace and huge outdoor kitchen - it kept us entertained until late in the evening. A quick 4 min drive to downtown and super convenient. We want to come back with our kids to take advantage of the pool and outdoor basketball court. You must come!

I can't say enough about how perfect this house was for our team retreat! The environment was so welcoming and comfortable. We were able to get a lot of really great work done. There were beautiful views all around the house. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were very nice. All we needed were our personal items and groceries. We can't wait to book The Farmhouse again!

Ideal setting for any occasion and would highly recommend setting aside time to enjoy the outdoor pool, fireplace and grill. The sunsets are one of a kind. Beds and bathrooms are just like home or better! The property is well maintained and there is great attention to detail. We have a vacation home that we rent and we appreciated the Farmhouse. One suggestion to owners is that for the charges, a guest should not be asked to strip beds, take trash to the curb and collect towels to the laundry room.

Thanks for the review and feedback. We have since changed our policy and stripping beds is no longer necessary. It was an effort to be respectful of our cleaning staff, who work so hard, to manage their time and our efforts to pay them a living wage. Glad you had a wonderful time inside and out and hope you can come again.

I loved this house! It was even better than the pictures show. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were big and comfortable. The backyard is really cute and fun. The house was also decorated really cute for Christmas with lights and a Christmas tree.

We enjoyed every bit of the farmhouse! Great house for a girls weekend. The back yard is amazing with thought into every detail for perfect entertainment. The inside is decorated beautifully and slept all 9 of us comfortably. We loved it all! We will be back.
