Porch Light Hospitality presents, The Pumphouse- an industrial-modern guesthouse located on a family-owned homestead in Fredericksburg, Tx.

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood and a short 5 minute drive to Main Street, The Pumphouse is the perfect place to rest, relax and enjoy all that the Hill Country has to offer. One of five unique and private guesthouses that make up “The Gathering Guesthouses,” The Pumphouse offers a unique experience with its classic industrial style that pays homage to the original purpose of the building. Galvanized pipes and cement floors are complemented by the warm and cozy atmosphere of the space.

The Space:

Bedroom: King sized bed with high-end linens, gas fireplace, reading chair, vaulted white-washed pine ceilings, TV with Roku.

Bathroom: Walk-in shower and jetted tub, oversized vanity, bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, robes, hair dryer, iron/board).

Kitchenette: Minifridge, microwave, coffee-maker with complimentary local grounds, dishware and dining nook.

Living Area: Sofa, reading chair, TV with Roku.

Outdoor Area: Private courtyard with hot tub and outdoor shower, fire pit (firelog provided), lounge seating, bistro table, hammock, TV with Roku.

* This guesthouse is completely private, no amenities are shared with other property guests.*

Wonderful Weekend

We stayed the weekend at The Pump House and absolutely loved our stay! The property was so peaceful and exceeded all of our expectations. We loved all the details in the decor in The Pump House. It was so charming. I highly recommend staying in any of the houses at The Gathering Place. We will definitely be back!

The Houses were very clean and so cute. The sheets and towels were extremely nice. For sure I would go back, close enough to main street to walk, but we drove most of the time. Very nice!

Very beautiful and quaint place. Bed was soft and shower and tub was great. Only thing I think it needs is a grill on the patio. It would be nice to grill some steaks while there. Great and friendly environment.

Anniversary

The Pumphouse is absolutely perfect for couples. My wife and I stayed for our second anniversary and loved it. It is very close to town and only a $15-20 Uber ride to the vineyards, however it feels secluded and peaceful. We were lucky to run into Laura, who showed us the Farmhouse, which is equally amazing. We will absolutely be coming back to stay here with friends. The whole property is lovely.

Perfection

We would definitely recommend this place to any of our friends. A very relaxing atmosphere. I would give it five stars, but the hot tub was out of order. I have faith that the great onsite property manager will have it repaired for the next guests.

Great romantic getaway!

My wife and I stayed at the Pumphouse on our honeymoon to Fredericksburg and we loved it! The property delivered on everything in the listing from the decor to the amenities. First and foremost, this property was just minutes from the main strip of town, but is located on the edge of town. This allowed us to get into town quickly but feel like we were in the middle of nowhere with how quiet everything was around us. Of special note, the backyard oasis was the highlight of the stay with a hot tub, TV, fire pit, and outdoor shower making the backyard perfect for anytime of the year. Inside the furniture is comfortable and the space is very functional. The managers of this property have thought of everything. They had a binder of instructions, information, and local recommendations for activities. They had local coffee ready to brew. They had a bucket with black towels and umbrellas for unexpected rain or messes. Everything was awesome at this quiet property!

Loved it

My husband and I spent our first anniversary at the pumphouse and we loved it! From the fireplace in the bedroom, the walk in shower and the hot tub in the private courtyard- it was perfect. And my husband said the bed was the most comfortable bed ever with all the fluffy blankets and pillows. We will definitely be back!

Cozy

I rented The Pumphouse for some friends for a Spring Break getaway and wine tour of Fredricksburg. We wanted to get away from the craziness of the city for awhile, and it delivered! Loved the private patio and the quietness! Had a bit of difficulty with the tv in the living room area not working, and since it was a bit chilly, trying to program the heat to go on was a bit difficult. Other than those minor details, we had a great stay! We will be back!!
