The Barn - The Gathering

This place was absolutely perfect, every detail in the barn can be felt with how much thought was put into this home. We never left the Barn House as it was that perfect with just everything we needed to enjoy our stay! I cant wait to return!! Brenda the property manger was awesome!!

The property is an old farm that the owners have tastefully turned into 4 rental units. Each one is unique and all have private back yards with fire pits and private hot tubs. We stayed in “The Barn” unit which was actually part of the old barn but has been totally renovated and updated. Many amenities including microwave refrigerator smart TVs with cable Netflix etc. Wi-Fi, whirlpool bathtub and more. Private backyard was our favorite part of The Barn. Would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed at the Barn and had high expectations with all of the amazing reviews of the Gathering. We were not disappointed. Every area and amenity is well thought out, at every turn I was surprised by the attention to detail. We stayed in Fredericksburg for the weekend, a very short getaway and I'm SO happy we stayed at the Barn, Perfect for families too we hope to bring our children out here when we can, or even a group and book multiple units. Thank you Brenda for everything!

We loved The Barn! So cute and cozy. Perfect size and adorable appointed. Very quiet. Was sick upon arrival so didn’t use the jacuzzi but did soak in the jacuzzi tub inside! Would definitely book again.

The Barn was our first getaway since moving to Texas. The place was lovely and the furnishings were adorable. We were looking forward to a relaxing and quiet few days away. The only downside was that the hot tub would not climb above 96 degrees and so we did not get to enjoy it like we hoped. The outdoor television did not work (or perhaps it was operator error), I’m not sure. As another guest mentioned, there was no WiFi available. The bedroom cable had certain channels (my HGTV) that did not come in and so I had to watch in the living room, which was still quite cozy. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Gathering again and I’m sure it won’t be our last stay:)

We loved staying at The Barn! The hot tub was a highlight! We grabbed pizza to go from West End Pizza, and enjoyed the night in. The WiFi was down, which was a bummer, but overall, we were very cozy and enjoyed the quiet retreat. I will bring my own pillow next time, as I like more support. The staff was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Thanks so much!

Thanks for staying with us. Sorry about the wifi but good news. We replaced our equipment and now the Wifi is screaming! West End Pizza is one of our favorites too! Hope you can return soon!

The Gathering is the perfect place to stay in Fredericksburg. The accommodations are well thought out and perfect for a getaway. My second visit and probably not the last.

We stayed here for our 6th anniversary and LOVED The Barn. It is the perfect balance of rustic and modern. Our children and my mom joined us the last day and we really enjoyed sitting out on the porch and watching the kids play on the rocks. We will definitely be staying here again if we come back to Fredericksburg.
